im workin on downloading the patches ive missed while not having my account. the patch im now on is 1.8.3. ive got this website (http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=8182 ) and it says patch 1.8.4 to 1.9, but tell me: is this what i need to download, or is there a patch before it i need to download? and if its just like 1 small patch, can i download everything after the 1 patch and download that 1 from blizzard? or can i get that one patch? because this is the earliest i can see.

Go to http://www.fileplanet.com/ and download the FULL fersion of the patch

1.8.4 to 1.9 is an incremental patch. If you choose this method you will also have to download all of the other incremental patches to get you up to the latest patch (1.10.1 at the moment.) The other preferred methods would be to download the full version of the latest patch (this has all the incrementals combined into one,) or use the auto-updater by logging into WOW. Hope that helps.

Since it's not a patch day, I agree and would just use the Blizzard auto patch thing. It usually isn't too slow unless it's Tues/Wed.Usualy the newest patches contain all the old one's fixes & stuff so you just need to download the newest one & you'll be ok unless WoW don't work as the other games slimming tea.

I would just let WoW auto-update it no matter how long it takes. I don't know if the patches accumulate all updates to a certain patch, or if you have to download all updates in order and apply them. The auto-updater knows though.
